The Black-cheeked Warbler seems to have a feisty expression. We only saw one a couple of times in the high forest above Los Quetzales.
Black-cheeked Warblers are pale off-white below, light throat, with black face and white stripe above eye, a small rufous crown and white mark on wing. The rest dull olive brown.
